My name is Irfan Bhana. I'm a pharmacist, an independent prescriber, and someone who spent years searching for a real answer to my own hair loss - before finally finding one.
Why I do this work
Like a lot of the people who come to me, my own hair loss started quietly and then became impossible to ignore. I understand the research spirals, the products that promise everything and deliver nothing, and the moment you realise you need someone who actually knows the pharmacology, not just someone selling you a bottle.
That search eventually led me back to my own profession. As a pharmacist, I had access to the clinical evidence most people never see. I used it on myself first, worked out what genuinely moves the needle on hair regrowth, and rebuilt my own hair with a proper, evidence-based approach. That result is the reason HairRx Clinic exists.
I built this clinic to be the resource I wish I'd had when I started: prescriber-led, clinically grounded, and honest about what works.
MY APPROACH
Evidence first. Experience second. No shortcuts.
Every treatment plan I write starts from the clinical evidence, not from what's trending. Hair loss has real, well-understood mechanisms behind it, and treating it properly means matching the right active ingredients and the right delivery method to what's actually driving your hair loss.
But I also bring something a textbook can't: I've lived the frustration of not knowing who to trust. That's why every consultation is built around a straight, unrushed conversation about what will genuinely help you, not a sales pitch.

As an independent prescriber, I assess and prescribe directly — no handoffs, no call centre, just clinical accountability from first consultation onward.
Personally Tested
I don't recommend anything I haven't scrutinised against the evidence — and, in the case of my own regrowth, tested on myself first.
